Things you gotta do and know about.

Expired Smoke Alarms

Several owners have still not replaced their EXPIRED smoke alarms.

During our November Fire inspection, Unit Owners will be cited for non-code compliant smoke alarms. The current code also requires Carbon Monoxide Sensors.

This is what a non-compliant smoke alarm looks like. They have a 9-volt battery compartment. The newer smoke alarm units have a 10-year battery and do not have a sliding cover. If you remove the alarm device, you will see its date stamp.

The Firex smoke alarm shown is stamped "2006 SEP 18".

Insurance

Every January you are required to mail or email a copy of your HO6 Condo insurance Policy to FSR. It's in our bylaws.

You can get a copy of the Master Insurance Policy on the FSR Owners' Portal. Most mortgage companies require a copy.

Please be sure to have a key in the lockbox. The Association or Management may need to access you unit to check on things or respond to an emergency.

Recycle: What is acceptable and what is not.

Trash OPTIONS: landfill, bulk waste

Contractors and Movers:

  • Please protect all walls, lobby and elevator floors, elevator and door trim, entrances, exits, side panels, and doors.
  • Please remove all construction or moving debris from the breezeways, lobby, and outdoor areas.
  • Do not place construction materials or debris in the property dumpsters. Builder dumpsters are available elsewhere in the Peninsula; ask a resident or gate guard for the appropriate locations.
